It’s show week! The Drama Department are excited to bring you the whole school production of William Golding’s Lord of the Flies. A cautionary tale that poses the idea that when typical social order is suspended, we are all just savages. With a cast of 25 students from Years 7-12, this exciting open-air production will use the backdrop of School House – a fixed symbol of education, rule, and order – to juxtapose the violent behaviour into which the boys descend. This production runs from Monday 22 May – Thursday 25 May 2023 with tickets costing £8 per person. Each performance will begin at 19:00 with a short interval after the second act.
