Results and Destinations
The academic results at Reading Blue Coat are first-rate, and the last three years of A Level results have been the best in the history of the School. In 2024-25, 84% of all entries were awarded A*-B grades. At a time when the educational landscape is changing, including the introduction of linear exams and new syllabuses, we are delighted that our students continue to flourish in the Sixth Form. These superb results see students progressing to a wide range of exciting courses and destinations, with 90% securing places at their university of choice, including Bath, Bristol, Durham, Exeter, Imperial, UCL and Warwick.
GCSE results at Reading Blue Coat have been remarkably consistent over the past five years. In 2024-25, 83% of results were at grade 7 or higher, including 61% of results at the top 8 or 9 mark. We are delighted that our boys continue to perform so well.
