Year 10s demonstrate Planetary Geology

Year 10 geologists learned why the moon’s craters are different shapes and sizes for their unit on Planetary Geology. Four separate teams looked at asteroid size, shape, distance travelled and angle of approach to determine the depth, circumference and ejecta patterns. We’re not sure the moon smells of cocoa powder but the experiment worked well, anyway! –
