Thespians enjoy dramatic and curious day out in London
Our A Level Performance Studies and A Level Drama & Theatre Studies students had their first Theatre Makers Day in London on September 14th.
The group survived the heat of the day and, in the morning, enjoyed the Theatre and Performance Rooms at the Victoria and Albert Museum, where they looked at set designs across the ages, tried on costumes from famous productions and relaxed together in a special Glastonbury Tent installation. This was followed by a sunny lunch outside in South Kensington. The group then made their way across town to The Gielgud Theatre on Shaftesbury Avenue to watch Simon Stephens’ adaptation of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time. It was a fantastic day of learning, culture and inspiration.
