Charlie joined Reading Blue Coat in December 2024 from Magdalen College School, where he was Director of Marketing and Communications. Before moving to Oxford, Charlie spent seven years at Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge, in various roles including Head of External Relations and Bye Fellow. Charlie started his career in the financial services sector and retains a keen interest in business and global affairs.

Charlie holds a prize-winning first-class degree in Geography from the University of Liverpool and an MPhil in Latin American Studies from the University of Cambridge, where he was awarded a Simón Bolívar Scholarship. Outside of work, he is a governor of a local primary school and enjoys football, cycling and hiking.
