Ultimate Activity
Ultimate Activity Camps will again be running their fun and engaging holiday programmes at Reading Blue Coat School during the Easter and Summer holidays.
They work with some of the best independent schools in the country and have a strong reputation for quality holiday programmes.
Established by a team with over 25 years’ experience of running high quality Ofsted-accredited holiday camps, children aged 4-14 years will have the chance to try over 40 exciting sports, games and creative activities each week.
Their activities will be delivered by engaging, enthusiastic and energetic staff who will instruct and encourage every child to try new activities and make new friends – and naturally have lots of fun!
During the summer, they will also offer Ultimate Survival which offers fun and adventurous outdoor day camps where children aged 7 to 14 years will try exciting outdoor activities and games, and learn new skills along the way. There’s even an optional Camp Out on Thursday nights!

Aldworth Philharmonic Orchestra
The Aldworth Philharmonic is an amateur orchestra based in Reading that present three concerts per year, plus additional Chamber Music Club events. The Orchestra was established in 2002 and has been supported by Blue Coat since then. The APO is a registered UK charity that promotes classical music in the local area by: providing low ticket prices as well as free tickets for people who have never seen a live orchestra before, commissioning at least one new work from a talented young composer every year, rehearsing for two weekends (22 hours in total) before each concert to allow local musicians who can’t make weekly rehearsals the chance to play (which means many more young people at the beginning of busy non-musical professional careers get the chance to play), and organising musical education and cultural events to support the orchestral performances. HydroKidz Swim School
HydroKidz swim school offers fun, safe and convenient weekly swimming lessons for children from age 3 upwards.
With small groups (no more than 5 in beginner classes) and highly qualified instructors, lessons are tailored for give effective learning in a fun and social environment. HydroKidz follows the Swim England Learn to Swim Programme and Awards scheme and operates continual assessment so children are able to progress at their own pace.
