Miss Plowman’s Year 9 History class were fortunate today to hear a talk by Blue Coat’s archivist, Mr Van Went, who spoke about Blue Coat alumni who had gone to fight for Britain during World War One. Miss Plowman says the talk has helped the boys to understand what life was like for the countless men who fought in that war, and the many that lost their lives.
