When Blue Coat was asked to provide a musician to play The Last Post and Reveille at a special Remembrance Service at Sunrise of Sonning Care Home on Friday, 10th November, Year 9 trumpeter Guy Barwell rose to the challenge. According to Bob Peters, who conducted the service: “It was really appreciated by the residents, especially the very sensitive way that Guy played. One lady was so moved by his playing that she had tears in her eyes when she was speaking to me about it afterwards.”

Blue Coat’s Director of Music, Jonathan Bowler, accompanied the hymns during the service.
