Tytus, Year 12 Senior RAF Cadet
I joined Blue Coat in Year 8 and the school’s size, benign teachers and collection of students stunned me. I was really impressed, and they accepted me into their community instantly, which made me feel at ease and my time here incredible.
I’m in my first year of Sixth Form and it has been one of the best experiences of my life. I’m studying Maths, Politics, History and Economics but if I had to choose my favourite, it would most definitely be Maths or Politics because of their interesting concepts and content.
The school has so many co-curricular activities, but I love acting, public speaking and sports. I have played a role in every school play and even was the lead actor in my first year at school! The Drama Department has improved massively over the past few years. I also play rugby and football which has games most Saturday mornings. I also co-lead the RAF section of our CCF program which is a great form of participation and developing leadership skills.
I want to pursue a career in law at Oxford University, and the school has a great Oxbridge Club that supports students willing to make the effort.
