2 6 Eric Frank Giles (1949) passed away on Sunday 21 August 2022 at the age of 89. Reginald (Reg) Norkett (1953) died in hospital on Sunday 16 October following a short illness. Reg is survived by his wife Maureen and two sons, Ian (1976) and Clive (1981). “Reg was a stalwart of the school and the Old Blues Association for many years and was president in 1982. He was a member of the Fête fund raising committee back in the 60’s, a member of the Old Blues football team and was playing when I first started in 1969, He also supported the Football and Cricket Club for many years after he finished playing. He was a school governor and supported and attended most Old Blue and School functions. He was the man we all went to if we needed plans drawn up to build extensions to our homes. He will be sadly missed. RIP Reg.” (Duncan Walker, 1969) “Reg was a long serving School Governor from 2009-2017. An absolute gentleman, giving kindness and time to all, and serving the School so faithfully”. (Headmaster, Pete Thomas) Paul Elford (1967) sadly passed away on 5 January 2023. IN MEMORIAM Congratulations to Old Blues LouiseWooster (2007) and SamHeath (2006) who married in Henley in June 2022. Celebrations continued at their tipi reception in Fawley with numerous other Old Blues in attendance. WEDDINGS BIRTHS Congratulations to Charlotte Hicks who welcomed twin boys Reuben and Ezra on 13 July 2022. Charlotte now lives in Dubai with her husband Brendon. Rex Barham as Form Master for 1A
