We’ve thoroughly enjoyed hosting a packed programme of events which provided plenty of opportunities to meet and re-connect with many Old Blues. 1. We started with a new event which took place last summer, an Old Blues Golf tournament hosted at Harleyford Golf Club outside Marlow, which was so popular it has become an annual event, attracting Old Blues golfers of all ages and golfing ability. 2. In September, we were still catching up on missed reunions due to Covid and so were delighted to welcome back Old Blues from 2000, 2001 and 2002 to celebrate their 20 Year Reunions along with their families. 3. In November we hosted another very special annual event, the Richard Aldworth Society Lunch which took place in the Buttery, welcoming Old Blues who left the School before 1979. 4. As we entered the party season in December it was the perfect time to throw a 1980s Reunion , attracting Old Blues from across the globe to come back to Blue Coat and enjoy an evening reminiscing and reconnecting with old friends. 5. In February Steve Woodford (1981) very kindly offered us his office, Haslams Estate Agents in central Reading, to host a networking event which brought together Old Blues, Parents, Staff and Students for a very relaxed and informal evening of Networking. 6. March saw another first for the School, hosting an Arts Showcase celebrating the incredible talent of our students for a week-long exhibition at The Old Fire Station Gallery in Henley. As part of the activities, the Foundation Office invited Old Blues from across the Arts industry to come along for a drinks reception and network with current students. 1 2 3 4 6 5
