The Montgomery Wellbeing Centre

The newly remodelled and expanded Montgomery Wellbeing Centre combines the School’s Medical Team, comprising a Nurse Manager and Medical Centre Practitioners, with the School Counsellors, to enable collaboration and teamwork in supporting the physical and mental health of our students.

There are two members of the Medical team on duty each day to ensure an effective response, when needed. Our staff bring a wealth of experience from working in the NHS, schools, and private practice.

The Centre also has a designated wellbeing room to provide calm space and respite, along with three clinical rooms. These generous and flexible spaces allow staff to deliver both pastoral and medical care in an appropriate setting, which is well-equipped, safe, and welcoming.

The Centre is open 8.00am – 5.00pm, Monday to Friday. First aid and pitch-side support is also provided at other times and events.

The team plays an important role in promoting the health and wellbeing of students during their time at school, and are always willing to listen to students and provide advice. The team also provides first aid and other healthcare support. The team are highly trained and empathetic, and are integral to the caring approach we take at Blue Coat.
