At Blue Coat, our philosophy is that every student should be known and cared for as an individual. Good relationships are everything. Our focus in getting to know young people, enjoying their company, and finding out what makes them tick. With our low staff-to-student ratio, expert teachers, and individualised tutoring, we care for our students deeply and thoughtfully. That could be experienced in a House Family meeting, a one-to-one with a tutor, or just a good chat with a friend.

We also believe strongly that we care for our students by making school fun. We are blessed with a beautiful, open site. We provide stimulating lessons and a wide variety of enrichment opportunities. We have a vibrant House system. Blue Coat is a friendly and inclusive school, focused on the happiness of its students. Great friendships are made, along with many happy memories.
