Well done to our CCF students who put on an impressive Battle Exercise demonstration during our recent Open Morning. Following the demonstration, the 46 new recruits spent the day immersed in their Initial Recruits Camp. The Year 9 and 10 recruits were expertly guided by the more experienced cadets from Years 10-13, helping in key areas of Fieldcraft and Tactics. This included ‘moving with and without a weapon’, ‘camouflage and concealment’, ‘judging distances’ and ‘hand signals and formations’. After a well-earned lunch, recruits gathered for a group photo before diving into new lessons on Patrol Harbour and O-groups, gearing them up for a full Exercise in 2025! Congratulations to all the recruits for passing, and a huge thanks to the dedicated staff and older cadets for making this day a success!
