Dr Andrew Worrall
Andrew is Laboratory Course Developer in the Department of Chemistry at Oxford University. Until he joined the university in April 2017, he had worked in schools and universities for a number of years, including as a Lecturer in Biochemistry at the University of Southampton, a Chemistry teacher at RGS Worcester, the Head of Chemistry and Science at Tonbridge School in Kent, and then as the Head of Chemistry and Science at Harrow School.
Andrew attended Merchant Taylors’ School in Middlesex, obtained a BA and MA at Christ’s College Cambridge, completed an MSc and a PhD in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Sheffield, and obtained his PGCE at the University of Southampton. He has co-written a number of academic papers and articles.
