RBC Students Network at Futures Mentoring Programme
This year’s Futures Mentoring Programme for Year 12 provided over 40 students the opportunity to gain industry-specific expertise and more general futures and careers advice from Old Blues and parents who offered their time for personal, one-to-one meetings. The programme culminated in a speed networking event for the whole year group. Students commented on the unique opportunity to have such a range of senior and qualified professionals in one room and learnt that a degree course does not have to define your career.
One mentor commented, ‘To help spark self-belief in someone at such a pivotal stage in their life is pretty rewarding.’
It was a pleasure to see the Buttery buzzing with so many inspiring conversations. We are very proud of the students who embraced this opportunity fully and want to thank the Old Blues and parents who gave their time and advice so generously.
