Our U18 hockey team is celebrating a fantastic performance at the Regional Championships! With skill, grit, and determination, they battled their way to victory and secured a spot at Nationals.
In the group stage they drew with Cokethorpe 1-1 and secured a confident 4-1 win against PGS taking them through to the semi-finals.
In a nail-biting encounter against St Mary’s, the 0-0 draw was decided by penalty shuffles. Our players held their nerve under immense pressure, securing a 4-3 victory in sudden death!
In the final against Oxford High, the team surged ahead with two early goals, only for Oxford High to equalise in the second half. With seconds remaining, the final moments were electric as Evie S delivered a sensational winning goal from a short corner on the very last strike of the game, clinching a dramatic 3-2 win!
