On Thursday evening Year 9s Samuel N and Will D took part in a new public speaking competition entitled ‘Have Your Say’ at Leighton Park School last night. Will delivered the main speech about driverless cars, and Samuel was the chairman and gave the vote of thanks. Competition was tough as seven teams spoke on subjects ranging from social anxiety, over- protective parenting, and toxic masculinity to name but a few. Will and Samuel were the youngest in the Year 9-11 age range – and won! Congratulations, boys!
