Meet the young football ace who is also raising money to help refugee children
Year 7 footballer Esat has been fundraising so that he can attend a football tournament in Holland over the Easter break. His campaign has been so successful, however, that he has already raised more than £1500 and has decided that he will donate the money raised over and above the £1000 needed for him to attend the tournament – to refugee children in Greece. Esat currently plays for the Berkshire Elite academy and has been to trials for clubs such as Chelsea and Southampton. The tournament in Holland is an important step for Esat, as it will be attended by teams such as Ajax, Liverpool and Barcelona Academy – which is why he set up his GoFundMe page to raise the £1000 necessary to be there. If you’d like to add to the amount being sent to Greece, visit Esat’s GoFundMe page at: gofundme.com/holland-football-tournament
