Lower School Litter Pick Success!
Lower School Litter Pick Success! Over 40 enthusiastic Lower School pupils recently took part in a Litter Pick organised by our Eco-Committee and led by Environmental Prefects, Stanley and Daniel. This year, Blue Coat is working towards becoming an official Eco School, and this was one of the first initiatives on our journey to achieving the award!
Despite the chilly, wet weather, our volunteers filled over eight large refuse sacks with rubbish from around campus, demonstrating their commitment to keeping our beautiful school site clean. Everyone who participated earned a plus point for Service – a well-deserved reward for their hard work!
Stanley S (Environmental Prefect) shared:
“This was a fantastic opportunity for members of Lower School to give up their own time to help to do something important for the environment – we were so pleased that so many wanted to take part and many asked if we could do it again next week!”
More opportunities to volunteer, take action, and raise awareness of key environmental issues will be available throughout the year. 🌍💚
