The Geology Department was thrilled to welcome Lorna Blaisse, CEO of Helium One Global Ltd., to speak to our Sixth Form Geologists. As she shared insights from her academic and industrial journey, the room fell silent with the students captivated by her expertise.

With a dynamic career marked by extensive travel and unexpected twists, Lorna highlighted how embracing change can create new possibilities. She emphasised that the field of geology is constantly evolving, particularly with the increasing demand for earth materials like Helium, which are crucial in advancing clean technologies.
