Following the successful completion of his MSc in Learning and Teaching at the University of Oxford, History teacher and Head of Year 8, Mr Leigh, was in contact with Impact, the journal of the Chartered College of Teaching, who expressed an interest in publishing a summary of his research. This has been included in their February edition (click on link). The focus of the research was on developing a successful peer mentoring programme in school, especially with regards to pastoral concerns. Mr Leigh would like to thank the school for their support during his MSc and is grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the debate regarding pupils’ wellbeing.
