Congratulations to our students on a stellar set of results in the international Chemistry Olympiad:

These results are most impressive, as candidates are given some extremely difficult problems to solve, many in a completely alien context. The silver award is for the top 25% of candidates and the gold is reserved for outstanding candidates. Jamie’s gold put him not only in the top bracket, but in the top handful of candidates in an assessment where 50% is considered an impressive achievement. He has achieved best in school and we are scouring records to see if we have ever seen a student do better. Well done, boys.
