Congratulations to our 1st Football XI on yesterday’s gritty win over Windsor Boys’, to make it through to the semi-finals of the County Cup. Josh H beat both central defenders to score the opener but a penalty conceded right on half-time evened it up. Committed tackling outside the opposition box early in the second half by Harry W saw the ball bounce through to James H, who calmly placed the ball in the corner of the goal. After this, it was frenetic; there were chances at both ends and fouls all over the pitch but some heroic saves from Dan A and tackles by the back line kept the hordes at bay as the team held out for the win.
