Dear All,

I hope you all had exciting, inspiring and refreshing holidays and are looking forward to the new school year.

In my new role as Director of Music, I am really looking forward to taking over the Community Choir. We will be continuing with our fun, beloved and sometimes challenging repertoire in a relaxed atmosphere. This year, by popular demand, we will be moving back to rehearsing on Tuesday evenings, rehearsing every week during term time from 7:30pm-9:00pm with a short break for tea, a biscuit and a chat. Rehearsals will usually take place in The Buttery.

The choir rehearses throughout the year, supporting the School at its events and we will also be looking for other opportunities to reach the wider community. We are always welcoming to new members and, as with most amateur choirs, are particularly keen to recruit new tenors and basses. Anyone who enjoys singing and relishes new experiences is invited. Singers can be of any level of expertise, confidence and experience.
