At the end of the summer term, a small group of our then Year 7 and 8 pupils automatically qualified for the UKMT Junior Kangaroo competition. Only 7400 students qualified for this round from the more than 300,000 students in the UK who sat the UKMT Maths Challenge. The top 25% of these Kangaroo entrants were awarded a Certificate of Merit. Many congratulations to the following: Bertie (Y8) on his Certificate of Merit – and to Year 8s Jesse, Arnav, and Jake, and Year 9s Jason, Ben and Sam on their Certificates of Qualification. Impressive achievements all around.
