An exciting event coming up at Blue Coat is our very own TEDxYouth@RBCS evening of TED talks on Thursday 15th November. TED talks are aimed at exposing the world to interesting and challenging new ideas – or, in the words of the TED nonprofit organization, “ideas worth spreading.” The theme of the event is “How to avoid the end of the world” and our students are invited to give a short (10-15-minute), powerful presentation on a world problem/issue and how to resolve it. The event is being run by Mr Blackburn and Dr Langford, and students interested in giving a presentation are invited to attend a meeting tomorrow at lunchtime.
