🌈Last week, as Pride Month drew to a close, our School’s Pride Society organised an event to celebrate diversity and inclusion. The day was a vibrant display of unity and support, with pupils and staff encouraged to dress in the rainbow colours of the Pride flag (as modelled beautifully here by the English and Art Departments). The lunchtime activities were a hit! A House Mini-Sports Day featured an egg and spoon race, three-legged race and an obstacle course. The Craft Fair showcased colourful items created by the DT Department, Enterprise Group and our service element of the school – the Aldworth Partnership.
All proceeds from the day were donated to AKT @aktcharity, a wonderful UK-based charity that supports young LGBTQ+ individuals facing homelessness.
